THE LAND HURRICANE

In 2020, a large storm affected the city of Cedar Rapids, in the state of Iowa, leaving the city cut off and causing great damage wherever the hurricane passed. What this natural tragedy did was unite the community and together, based on volunteers, they managed to recover.

This is the theme that inspired THE LAND HURRICANE, a commission from Mount Mercy University and Jack Frank, Assistant Professor of Music & Music Major Coordinator
